It instills a pleasant taste, encourages salivation and promotes bit acceptance. Distinctively unique, this metal is a proprietary blend of copper, zinc and manganese. All Sensogan bits are marked with a black ring at the cheeks.

The exceptional shape of the Bemelmans mouthpiece distributes even pressure across the entire tongue, virtually eliminating the ability to put the tongue over the bit. The mouthpiece shape accommodates the sensitive arch of the horse’s mouth, and its thickness is tapered toward the center for soft but effective communication.
